About Me!

The Very Beginning…
2012
It all started when I saw my cousin, Jacob, in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I was in awe of the talent on stage and immediately knew that it would be a big part of my life. Jacob even went to OCU as a Music Theatre major! I’ve been lucky enough to visit him at his current show, Aladdin. Now that I have had my own experiences, catching up with Jacob felt so fufilling! And by the way, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is STILL my favorite musical.

I love traveling! Especially the East Coast. My favorite place to visit is Massachusetts: Boston, Essex, Salem, and Marblehead. It’s such a beautiful state to explore in any season. My dream is to retire in a Massachusetts coastal cottage!

I am terrified of needles! To the point where I chose to get surgery awake so that I would not have to get an IV. Little did 12-year-old Anna know that a lot more needles were to come with an unmedicated surgery! Ouch.

My ideal day off is waking up mid-morning to a sunny day and going for a walk with my music (currently listening to Faye Webster). After that, I pick up my best friend to go for a Sonic drink and cruise around town. Maybe hit a few shops, and end the day by hitting our favorite Japanese restaurant—Momoya.

While it’s a nickname that sticks, many don’t know where Anna Gutz comes from. My father owned a restaurant for the majority of his life that specialized in Mexican food his parents would cook. And was the catering service called? Gutz to Go! From then on out, customers around my small town would call me Anna Gutz. Thanks, Dad!
